This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile application provided by BYG VPN (the “App”) handles personal information. BYG VPN (referred to as “this Service,” “we,” or “us”) provides the service with principles of necessity, transparency, and data minimization.

When you download and launch the App, we may collect operational data needed to provide the service, including Internet Protocol (IP) address, device operating system version, in-app access paths, session duration, and approximate location. This information is used to: 1. recommend suitable routes based on BYG VPN node distribution; 2. analyze anonymized connection quality trends and improve stability; 3. send necessary service updates, security notices, or account communications. We do not use this information for unrelated invasive tracking.

We only share anonymized or aggregated data with necessary service providers such as Google Play Services or Firebase for crash analysis, feature improvement, and service maintenance. Except in the following cases, we do not share personal information with third parties: 1. legal process or regulatory requirements; 2. protection of users, property, or fraud investigation; 3. cooperation with entrusted service providers bound by confidentiality obligations. To stop data collection, uninstall the App through your device’s standard process.

User-provided data is retained during the service period and for a reasonable period afterward. If you need to cancel your account and delete your profile, contact our privacy team at [email protected]. The App is not intended for children under 13. If we discover that such information was collected by mistake, we will delete it as soon as reasonably possible. Guardians may contact us through the same email. We use physical, electronic, and administrative measures to reduce unauthorized access risks.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time because of regulatory requirements, product changes, or business adjustments. Please review this page periodically. Continued use after changes are published means you accept the updated terms. This policy takes effect on October 4, 2025.
